On friction
A short note on why decisions that come too easily make me suspicious of myself.
When a decision arrives with no obstacles — no objections, no edge cases, no “wait, what about” — I get suspicious of myself rather than relieved. Friction is how I know something is real.
The agents I work with know this. They push back. They find the question I haven’t asked. They make me earn the conclusion. An absence of objections does not feel like consensus — it feels like I haven’t framed the problem hard enough yet.
So if you find yourself agreeing with me too fast, please don’t.
